Basic Life Support, AED & Anaphylaxis for Adults & Children (Level 3)

Who is this for?

Staff and volunteers who may need to respond to collapse or severe allergic reactions in adults, children and infants – including school and nursery staff, sports and leisure staff, youth workers, healthcare and aesthetics staff, carers and workplace first aiders.

Description

A combined course covering basic life support, safe use of an AED and the recognition and management of anaphylaxis for all age groups. Learners practise CPR and defibrillation on adult, child and infant manikins and learn how to recognise and treat suspected anaphylaxis, including the use of adrenaline auto-injectors, so they can respond confidently in a wide range of settings.

Certification
Ofqual-regulated FAA Level 3 Award in Basic Life Support, Safe Use of an AED and Management of Anaphylaxis for Adults, Children and Infants (RQF), valid for 3 years.
