Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about our courses, delivery and certification. Can't find your answer? Get in touch.

Where do you deliver training?

We deliver training on-site at your premises anywhere in the UK, scheduled around your shift patterns and operational needs. This means your team trains together in a familiar environment, using your own workplace tasks and equipment where appropriate.

How many people can attend a course?

Most courses run with a maximum of 12 delegates per trainer to ensure everyone gets meaningful, hands-on practice. Practical fire extinguisher sessions have an ideal group size of 6–12 (maximum around 15). If you have larger numbers, we can arrange multiple sessions or additional trainers.

Are your qualifications accredited?

Yes. The majority of our courses lead to nationally recognised, Ofqual-regulated qualifications, valid for three years. Our training supports compliance with the relevant regulations for each subject — including HSE first aid requirements, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, EYFS/Ofsted paediatric requirements and CQC care standards.

How long are certificates valid for?

Most accredited qualifications are valid for three years. Some awareness certificates and in-house certificates are recommended to be refreshed more frequently (for example, fire marshal training every 1–3 years, and asbestos awareness annually). Each course page lists its specific certification and validity.

Can courses be tailored to our workplace?

Absolutely. Where appropriate we use your own workplace scenarios, tasks and equipment so the training is directly relevant to your team's day-to-day work. Let us know your requirements and we'll tailor the delivery accordingly.

How do we book, and how far in advance?

Simply send us an enquiry or give us a call with your preferred course, approximate delegate numbers and location. We'll recommend the right course, confirm availability and find dates that suit you. We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for multi-day courses.

Do you offer refresher and requalification courses?

Yes. Several of our courses include dedicated refresher or requalification options — for example First Aid at Work Requalification (FAWR). If your certificates are approaching expiry, get in touch and we'll arrange timely refresher training so your cover stays valid.

What if I'm not sure which course we need?

That's what we're here for. Tell us about your workplace, roles and any first aid or fire risk needs assessment you have, and we'll recommend the most appropriate course(s) for compliance and for your team's confidence. Contact us to talk it through.
